I began DJing in 1992, after being inspired from many nights spent at The Man Alive club, Shelly’s, The Energy house (Banshee), Rockworld and Wigan Pier, listening to DJ’s such as 808 state, Stu Allan, Slipmat & Lime and the legendary Sasha. The music was much different in those days and the scene more underground than we know today, but the spirit still remains the same today.

As time went by I found that the only club I continued to return to time and time again was Wigan Pier. The club had a vibe like no other, the crowd so friendly and the music unlike any other venue. Although the music is most definitely faster & bouncier these days the club still holds the same characteristics as it did back in 92.

My first DJing experiences were playing locally for friends, as my reputation grew I moved on to DJing the pub circuit in and around Ashton-u-Lyne in Greater Manchester.  In 1996 I got together with several friends to start promoting our own nights in and around the Manchester area, we ran many successful nights for 2 years giving me the opportunity to work alongside respected DJ’s such as Welly, Moggy, Rick Jones, Kenny Grogan and Paul Walker.

Due to family commitments I did not play anywhere for several years, however you don’t lose the bug that easily and I’m back playing again.
